Mpho Popps set to star in a new Netflix movie

South African comedian Mpho Modikoane popularly known as Mpho Popps is set to star in a new Netflix movie titled, Big Huns Little Heist.

According to the IMDB website, the Netflix film is about an ex-soldier turned delivery man who is dragged into a local kingpin’s bumbling gang to pull off a daring heist in an infamous South African township.

Taking to social media, Mpho shared a trailer of the movie promising to make viewers laugh, as it is filled with comic scenes. 

“I can’t wait for everyone to see #BigNunusLittleHeist on the 28th of July on @netflixs. I don’t want to give too much away but the casting and the storyline of this is completely insane, be prepared to laugh from start to finish,” he wrote.

The movie will be available for streaming on the 28 July 2023.

Many of his fans flooded his comment section with congratulatory messages as they expressed their excitement on the upcoming film.

“Please let’s interview some cast members or someone who can talk about this on Popcorn and Cheese????,” wrote a fan.

Another said: “I hope you don’t appear that little, like on the trailer?we’re watching this for you.”

“Dope trailer. Can’t wait for it to drop,” wrote a fan.

“This looks awesome I can’t wait ?????????,”said another fan.

The comedian and TV presenter is currently the host of the The Masked Singer South African.
