‘I don’t fear death anymore’ – Nadia Nakai while missing AKA

Tweeps are sending their love to rapper Nadia Nakai who still mourning the loss of her late boyfriend Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes who tragically passed away on 10 February in Durban.

The couple reportedly started dating in 2021 and made their relationship public in 2022 through social media posts.

In 2023, their relationship unfortunately came to an end when AKA was gunned down outside the restaurant Wish on Florida Road in Durban.

On Twitter recently, Nadia indicated that she was still missing her boyfriend. She tweeted, “What is south Aaah without Aka?”

Responding to her tweet, one tweep stated that AKA might not be with Nadia physically but rather spiritually. Nadia replied, “They say that, but how do you know?”

Nadia also mentioned that AKA has an unreleased song with rapper K.O, while also asking K.O to “drop” the song.

The tweet was followed by, “I miss him so much… I don’t fear death anymore because I know I might see him… nothing wrong with that. That smile? I can actually go hey…”

After sharing the above tweet, Nadia was told, “We need you on this side. You take one day at a time. We love you.”

The Imma Boss rapper also admitted that she cannot listen to AKA’s songs anymore. “His voice.. hai I can’t,” she tweeted.
