Slikour launches two monetising platforms for creatives

Rapper and businessman Siya Metane, professionally known as Slikour, announced his two new platforms – Sol Distro and Sol Wallet – that allows for creatives to monetise what they have created.

The author of Slikour: The Life Story of a Hip-Hop Pioneer took to his Instagram account to announce the news.

“The audacity to think you can make a change…..It’s been 4 years working to get here and this statement has been a burden in tough times and an affirmation when things were up.

“Last night I announced our music distribution business @soldistro which will become a music investment business led by artists. We also introduced our fintech platform SOLWallet that allows users to have a SOL master card & SOL balance which will [allow] users [to] pay other SOL users/merchants via mobile payments,” he wrote.

The former Skwatta Kamp member added, “This will become the financial nucleus for creative smes,consumers & business that support creatives….I declare. I’m sharing this not cause our work is done but cause our work is only starting, we ready for your support in utilising this service but most importantly giving us honest feedback on how to improve.”

He concluded, “We changing the rules so our people can have the bias to win but first we need to build the platforms that will enable it -a #unitedstatesofcreatives. #letsbegreat Oh also made a quick summary videos of Wtf I’m talking about.”
