Sizwe Dhlomo mocks Simz over Thabo Bester statement

by Johana Mukandila

South African actress Simphiwe Ngema also known as “Simz” was named as the high-profile celebrity who visited convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester in prison.

After the news surfaced, it trended all over social media resulting in the actress releasing a statement which confirmed that she had indeed visited Bester, who she had known as TK Motsepe — a businessman that she’s worked with who owed her money.

“He seemed well connected and was able to organise meetings and big events which I and many other public figures were booked for. Till this day I was never paid for some of the events that I was booked for by 21st Century,” reads the statement.”

The statement which has since been deleted off her social media went viral, as Mzansi questioned the actress’ real motives as to why she visited the Facebook rapist.

One of the individuals to have joined in the conversions was media personality Sizwe Dhlomo who mocked the former Muvhango actress for releasing her statement and wondered why she would post it before having a legal team review it.

“Ukuthi nani niyawathanda ama press release abhedayo! Thula uma indaba yakho ingekho straight! Buka manje! SMH! (You love unnecessary press releases. You should have kept quiet if you weren’t sure about your story. Now, Look! Shaking My Head (SMH),” he wrote in a tweet.
