Many were left broken hearted as they did not see the postponement coming and were looking forward to the show.

One social media user said this would be lesson for Cape Townians to buy tickets on time.

“Zonke I love you for this. Cape Townians will learn to buy tickets in time. No use in wanting an artist to spend thousands on a show but only 2 people show up. Good job Zonke. Here we learn.”

A disappointed social media user wrote: “I hope we can get our refunds because some of us are going to CPT for the show. Why do they think it’s CPT people only? Most people booked flights and accommodation for this even yhooooo???”

Another disappointed supporter wrote: ” We love you Zonke and we understand but yohhhhh ??. I literally bought tickets for me & my friend cos we have our birthdays in April. We are coming to CT as a celebration & wanted to treat ourselves with your show ???. How do we request for a refund???”
