Youtuber and social media influencer Mihlali Ndamase has opened up about how she met her bae Leeroy.

The pair have been making headlines ever since their romance begun, it had many people speculating about how the two started dating, claiming Leeroy’s alleged wife had not signed divorce papers, hence making them still married.

The award-winning content creator went live on Instagram to explain how she met her bae.

Mihlali said that she met Leeroy on a video call through a friend of Leeroy who connected them while she was out of town for work.

“I was charmed from the beginning; from the moment I spoke to this man. We were on the phone for six weeks until he couldn’t wait any longer,” she said.

“I caught feelings. Love him like it’s day one, from the moment we met we both just knew. Our first kiss was on the first day we met. He claims he did not know who I am.”

Mihlali told Nounouche in an interview that she wished her relationship was not in the public eye with scandals attached to it. However, the YouTuber claims that the scandals and allegations made against her relationship does not faze.

“The timing to post each other was not right. He posted and I reposted his story. People will always have their opinions, it doesn’t affect me,” she said.

The YouTuber also set the record straight on the allegations made against her by individuals who claimed that she “stole.”

“Another important thing is that men are not possessions, you don’t just take and run with it. People are responsible for themselves. We make it seem like these men cannot think for themselves and in that regard, we never hold them to the same standards we hold women.”
