Lady Du reflects on her biggest milestone

Amapiano vocalist Duduzile Ngwenya better known as Lady Du reminisces on her biggest milestone as a musician.

The Amapiano star took to her social media where she shared a video revealing when she starred on a billboard in Times Square, New York.

Lady Du said she was still coming up as an artist when Spotify spotted her internationally. She captured the post saying: 

“Still my biggest milestone!!!!! @spotify @spotifyafricaIt was during this time that I was put on the New York Times Square billboard, I wasn’t as big as I am now, with only 80k followers!!!! This proves that when grace locates you no one can stop you today my brand has grown sooo much and I still take time to thank people who were there during my come up,” she wrote.

Lady Du also thanked her colleagues along with her fans.

“Thank to @spotifyafrica @spotify @lookatophiona for soooo much support, I can’t even believe that most of the streams for my song are from the United States and Nigeria, thank you to @reekadobanks abd @siyakha_khitha no @tmansa_official for such an amazing song.”

“South Africa kindly stream so we put our country on the map,” she added.

Many of her fans jumped into the comment section as they flooded her post with congratulatory massages. 

“You deserve it queen,” wrote one fan.

Another fan said: “congrats sis.”
