Uncle Waffles announces 2nd project, Asylum

Social media sensation and DJ Lungelihle Zwane better known as Uncle Waffles has announced her highly anticipated second project titled, Asylum.

The star took to social media to reveal the art cover of the project, she further announced the release date and tracklist.

The 7-track album will be released on the 31st of March 2023.

“1 year ago, I released my debut project, unlocking a part of me I never knew existed, a vulnerability I never knew I could feel. A year later, I’m doing it again, Welcome to the Asylum. Out Friday, 31st of March,”  she captioned her post.

Fans of the superstar took to her comments section to express their excitement of the upcoming project.

One social media user commented: “I heard blue tick in my mind just looking at this post ??can’t wait! Energy energy energy!”

Another user added: “OHHH IM WILLINGLY CHECKING INTO THIS ASYLUM.”

Uncle Waffles has made it onto the prestigious Coachella 2023 lineup.

Coachella is an International annual music and arts festival. Uncle Waffles will be performing amongst the world’s biggest musicians at the world’s biggest and most famous music and arts festivals in April, which takes place in California.

The music festival features a wide range of artists that cuts across plenty of genres including Afrobeat, house, Soulful, EDM, Hip-hop and most recently Amapiano. The Tanzania hit maker will be the first ever Amapiano female DJ to perform at the festival.
