Award-winning actress Katlego Danke is taking legal action against MDNews after they broke the news of her alleged affair with Billionaire Patrice Motsepe.

According to the news blog they revealed that Katlego Danke and Patrice Motsepe have an alleged child together and are expecting another child. However, the former Generations actress and the Billionaire Patrice Motsepe both denied the allegations which has prompted the Gomora actress to take legal action against MDNews for the defamatory tweets.

According to Sunday World, the actress has demanded an apology for the defamatory tweets that have ruined her public image.

Through her lawyers, Katlego revealed that the Twitter thread was, individually and/or cumulatively, demonstrably false and constituted actionable defamation.

“For the record, Ms Danke categorically denies that she (a) is or has ever been in a romantic relationship with Dr Patrice Motsepe; (b) has any children with Dr Motsepe; and (c) is pregnant at the moment. The damage done to our client’s reputation as a result of your false and defamatory allegations is severe. Our client is in the process of calculating the damages suffered as a result of your conduct,” reads the letter seen by the publication.

According to TshisaLIVE the letter also stated that the former Generation actress is in the “process of calculating the damages she suffered” due to the Twitter post.

The lawyers have also requested the news blog to issue an apology to the actress across all its platforms. However, it was also instructed to refrain from further defamatory statements. Failure to do so will see the case being taken to High Court.
