Noluthando Meje joins Uzalo

Noluthando Meje better known as Nolly Nolz, will be joining the cast of South Africa’s most loved soap opera, Uzalo.

Uzalo which plays on SABC1, is a South African soap opera that has aired on SABC1 since 2015. It is the most-watched TV show in the country, with an estimated 11 million viewers tuning in for each episode. The show follows the lives of a close-knit family living in the fictional town of KwaMashu. The award-winning soapie Uzalo has changed its title sequence after 8 years since its debut and 8 seasons.

According to entertainment commentator Phil Mpela, Noluthando Meje will play Zola — who arrives at KwaMashu police station with her partner Thalente to wrap up an investigation of money laundering at KwaNjomane and step on Mondli’s toes. Noluthando will debut on the show in May.
