You probably have started thinking about what you will be cooking on Valentine’s Day, that is if you and your partner are choosing to stay in. Or, you have probably made the reservations to your favorite restaurant. Either way, if you will be celebrating Valentine’s Day, there will definitely be food involved.

While you be eating away while enjoying some alone time with you boo, there are certain foods that are best to avoid if you want to enjoy your Valentine’s Day date with your significant other.

We have compiled a list of foods you should avoid on your Valentine’s Day date: `

Alcohol

If you and your partner consume alcohol, there is a huge chance that you will be indulging in a few of your favorite beverages on the day. While there is no harm in opening that special bottle with your date. It is important, especially if you are out to not go overboard with the drinking, you do not want to stink or end up sloppy giving your partner the burden of carrying you.

Blue cheese

According to Healthline, blue cheese is made from cow, goat, or sheep’s milk that has been cured with cultures from the mold Penicillium. Therefore, this type of cheese does not have the best smell, it can smell like someone’s armpits which has not been washed and that aroma is the last thing you want to smell while enjoying some romantic time with your partner.

Spicy curry

You might want to save the heat for the bedroom and not for the dinner table. Having a sweat session caused by the spicy curry will not only leave you feeling embarrassed but will have your makeup melting too.

Onion and garlic

These ingredients are extremely good for us and our health. However, when an important date like a date on Valentine’s Day is approaching then it is best to stay away from them. These ingredients can ruin your breath and a stinky breath is the last thing you need on a date.
