Watch: Most anticipated nominations for SA Amapiano Awards 2023

South African Amapiano Awards second annual event held their nominees announcement, hosted by Big Brother Mzansi star and musician Vyno Miller and Khanyisa Jaceni.

As some will argue Amapiano is the best genre South Africa has to offer right now and many artist have crossed over to the sound.

CEO, Qness Ndlovu of Amapiano awards announced the theme of this year event is Amapiano to the world on the video shared by entertainment commentator who attended the event Phil Mphela, Ndlovu continues to say “we should be proud of the genre we have created as South Africans and celebrate it, the artists are not given enough credit and platforms like these will help many artist get the recognition they deserve.”

According to managing director of Bathu, Cedric Diphoko on a shared video, “we wanted to be official sponsors of the awards to see the genre grow into the world and to contribute to the culture,” said Cedric.

The event is set to take place on the 2nd of April 2023, in Pretoria.
