AKA speaks on his desire to be an Idols SA judge

South African rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes better known as AKA revealed that he has always wanted to be an Idols SA judge.  

The TV show was first announced to be canceled by Phil Mphela an entertainment commentator. Phil said on his Twitter timeline that the show has been canceled, However it has been renewed for the 19th seasons which will happen this year, but that will be the final season. 

“After 21 years, IdolsSA will be bowing out of our screens. The show has been renewed for a 19th season, which will be the show’s final season,” he wrote on his Twitter timeline.

Idols SA also confirmed the cancellation of the show their Twitter timeline.

The news garnered mixed reactions, but it hurt the rapper as he thought he would become a judge on the show before it ends.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “I should have been a judge on @IdolsSA *sigh* … I always wanted that.”

AKA says it would have been nice to add the judge title on his curriculum vitae.

“Masters of Rhythm, The Hustle … Idols … that would have been nice,” he wrote.
