Many people have shared and congratulated Nozibele and Sikhumbuzo Mayaba for their pregnancy announcement.

The country fell in love with this couple after they have lived their truth and inspired many couples who are affected by HIV and since then they have been speaking out about the stigma around the virus in black communities.

The couple who will soon celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary are the people’s favorite couple, who like any couple went through life’s hardest times but managed to overcome.

Nozi is known for her advocacy work and bravery where she has owned her HIV positive status and overcoming the stigma people put on positive people living with HIV.

The couple told You that they met at a time where Nozi didn’t want to expose herself, that she told Sikhumbuzo about her HIV status so that he can give up, after he had been so persistent.

However, at that point Sikhumbuzo told himself that he has met his wife.

Her activism to fight the stigma of HIV on her YouTube channel has made her recognized as one of the top 15 HIV channels to follow.

According to Nozi’s Youtube Page when she shared her story, she has always been a model child but her only weakness was trusting a wrong guy and that’s how she got infected with the virus.

As much as Nozi struggled to find her way in terms of accepting her status, she never stopped making her parents proud by passing her grade 12 at the age of 16 and finding a permanent job by her 3rd year of University.
