Easy to make desserts

The holidays are here and our sweet tooth’s are already activated. However, we’re not all gifted in the baking department and to make things easy for the non-bakers, we have compiled a list of desserts that are quicker to make and require less skills, but will have everyone asking for seconds.

Chocolate Waffles

Ingredients:
1 mashed banana
2 eggs
1 scoop vegan chocolate protein powder (1/4 cup / 30 g)
2 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder

1. Mix the wet ingredients together
2. Add the dry ingredients and stir until combined
3. Spoon the batter into a preheated waffle iron (if you like you can add some butter to the waffle iron first). Cook the waffles until golden! Add your toppings and enjoy!

No-Bake Oreo Mousse Cups 

Ingredients

1 c heavy whipping cream
1/2 c powdered sugar
1 Tsp vanilla
Oreos

Topping
1 c heavy whipping cream
1/2 c powdered sugar
1/4 Tsp vanilla
Oreo and crumbs

Crush Oreos to make crumbs. In a mixer, whip up the heavy cream, powdered sugar and Oreo crumbs. While that’s whipping up, pour some Oreo crumbs in 2 cups. Pour in the whipped mousse mixture. Clean the mixer and whip up the rest of the heavy cream and powdered sugar. Pour into the cups. Sprinkle Oreo crumbs and enjoy!

Mini Chocoloate Cheescakes 

Ingredients:

Base:
150g Digestive biscuits, finely crushed
60g unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake:
400ml double cream, cold
350g cream cheese, room temp
100g icing sugar
100g white chocolate, melted & cooled slightly

Optional topping:
Melted white chocolate
9 White chocolate chunks

If you’re not confident in your skills, we suggest trying these out for your immediate family before making it for guests at your next gathering. Practise makes perfect.
