Fans and celebs react to the death of Davido’s 3 year old son

Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland, who is a popular chef and influencer, have reportedly lost their three year old son.

Davido’s three year old son who goes by the name of Ifeanyi Adeleke reportedly drowned in the swimming pool at his parents’ home in the main city of Lagos. The news comes just after Ifeanyi turned three, celebrating with his dad.

The Afrobeat singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, was not home when the incident happened Monday night. Neither was his fiancée Chioma who is the child’s mother. 

According to BBC, eight domestic workers have been taken in for questioning with the police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin who confirmed to BBC that a domestic worker staff called the police at 22:00 local time (21:00 GMT) on Monday when the incident had occurred. 

“We are reviewing the CCTV cameras to get additional information about the circumstances of his death,” Mr Hundeyin said.“His body has been deposited in the morgue. We are in touch with his parents. In fact they were with us last night.”
