Why Lady Zamar no longer pleases people

The South African singer and songwriter Lady Zamar took time to share her views as to why she is no longer active on social media in a recent interview while chatting to former rapper Slikour on the Slikour onLife.

The hitmaker opened up about how she no longer has time to waste on people-pleasing.

“I don’t try to prove anything to everyone. I feel like it’s such a waste of time. I have limited time on this earth and my job is not to make you believe, like, know and  understand me,” she said.

The singer said her mission was to share her talent and the message in her heart. She also emphasized that her music career was a result of her feeling like she was never truly heard by the people around her.

Lady Zamar has pleaded with fans to not be too harsh on themselves when they make missteps, reminding them this is their first time at this life game.

In one of her messages of advice which she shared on Twitter, where Lady Zamar asked her followers to show themselves compassion.

“Cut yourself some slack. No-one has had a chance to rehearse this life thing. We’re all doing it for the first time,” Lady Zamar said.

The star often uses her Twitter platform to encourage others and share pearls of wisdom with her followers.

“Be mindful of what you say, how you say it and how you treat others. Being gentle and loving comes at no price to you,” she said.
