Selfcare masks for you

Selfcare is all about looking after yourself. Whether you painting your nails, soaking in a warm bath or giving love to your hair, selfcare should always be included. Facial masks might be an extra cost in your beauty procedure, but never underestimate what they can do for your skin. From charcoal to overnight, different masks are available to address your skincare concerns including dryness, acne and wrinkles.  To help you understand what might work for your skin or to just add a new healthy glow, try adding these facial masks to your regimen.

Clay Masks

If you have oily or acne-prone skin, then clay masks are a must-have. They contain natural clay properties that deeply cleanse while absorbing the oil, without drying your skin. They also eliminate toxins and dirt. Clay masks come in different colours such as green for exfoliation and yellow for brightening up.

Charcoal Masks

Activated charcoal is a wonderful ingredient that helps draw bacteria, chemicals and dirt to the surface of your skin. These masks help to fight acne, soothe irritation and detox the skin. The result is a flawless complexion!

Overnighting Masks

Your skin repairs itself while you sleep, but it also loses a lot of water. Overnight masks offer a helping hand by creating a seal that locks in moisture. They come in the form of creams that you apply before bed and rinse off in the morning. They are your go-to solution for hydration and skin ageing.

Sheet Masks

Currently the new skincare craze, these are face-shaped cotton sheets soaked in serum-based formula. They are packed with vitamins, minerals and amino acids, and help to boost hydration, treat fine lines as well as brighten up your skin. They come handy when pressed for time or travelling as you don’t have to wash it off. Just apply, leave on for 15 to 20 minutes, then massage into your skin.

Tip: Simple DIY home masks could also do the trick to help reduce acne and scars.
