Oprah partners with Apple's new streaming service

Oprah has partnered with Apple’s newly launched streaming service, Apple TV+. The service will debut in more than 100 countries and feature ad-free original series and films.

The media mogul’s deal will see her create exclusive content for the service including two new documentaries; one on mental health and one on the impact of sexual harassment in the workplace. Oprah will also relaunch her famous book club on the service which will live stream conversations with authors throughout Apple Stores and “across all devices, all borders.” She shared the exciting news on social media.

Speaking at the launch, Oprah shared why she joined forces with the technology giant, sharing in part “Apple has reimagined how we communicate. I’ve joined them in order to serve this moment. Their platform allows me to do what I do in a whole new way—to take everything I’ve learned about connecting to people to the next level.”
