Former US first lady Michelle Obama shared how her husband, Barack, proposed. During an interview on American talk show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, she revealed that he proposed in the middle of an argument about their views on marriage. These arguments were a norm in the couple’s relationship, and he used them as an opportunity to woo her. Michelle is currently on a tour to promote her new memoir, Becoming Michelle.
